 I have researched many wholesale options and have discovered and used two wholesale services that I believe are head and shoulders above the rest in terms of value for money, quality of wholesale suppliers and products.

 If you are just starting out then I have the answer! If you are wanting to get really serious about about your online business, then I have that answer too!

Hi Damien Clarke here. If you're not one of my usual subscribers to My Blog, then let me quickly tell you a little bit about myself...and then I'll show you why the following information will be extremely valuable to you if you are considering starting up your own online wholesale or drop shipping business.

I have been working from home and making a decent living online since 2004 and currently enjoy all that working from home has to offer, such as being my own boss, work the hours I want to work, great social networking and truly enjoying what I do. While even caring for my two pre-school children!!

Don't get me wrong - this is not a get-rich-quick scheme, you do actually have to do some work. I am the Managing Director and Founder of Red Rock Adventure Products Pty Ltd.  An e-commerce company established as a one-stop shop providing all the hands-on resources that make Adventure Training and Experiential Learning fun and fulfilling for groups ranging from school age to corporate businesses.

I am real and so is my company. We have over 200+ repeat customers and are continuosly adding 'new' products to our product list. We listen to our customers and inturn approach the right suppliers.

How I got started....

I was like many people today who want to escape the rat race and start making themselves rich instead of working hard to make someone else rich. In today's information age this dream has become a reality for many people and there is always room for more to join the gravy train!

When I first started my business, I was using local suppliers and a retail chain in New York and only being afforded a marginal discount off their Retail Price. If I didn't source my own products I would not have been able to sustain my business. Trying to set up and run a business is difficult at the best of times, but trying to source products by yourself is downright difficult if you don't really know what you are doing.

What I tried first....

I tried searching for top overseas wholesale networks located in China, Taiwan and the USA.

There are numerous wholesale directory sites, however, after spending several days and many hours researching I was basically going round in circles trying to find the products I wanted and then trying to communicate with these suppliers not knowing who was a real wholesale supplier and who was a 'middleman.'

Try it yourself and see how frustrating it is!

Then after a visit to my accountant resulted in me being given the names of two wholesale sites that were about to change my life and my business success forever.

What I discovered that worked....

Since I began my company over 4 years ago, I've been through literally every emotion imaginable. Frustration, anger and jubilation. The frustration only lasted the first 12 months whilst I desperately tried to discover how this whole importing wholesale products business worked.

You can make alot of money buying wholesale products and selling for a profit, and it is quite easy, once you have reliable and trusted suppliers.

There are some basic steps to follow:

1. Research products that people are searching for.
2. Find wholesale suppliers for your products.
3. Decide on a profitable sale price.
4. Sell products on your own site, e-bay or amazon stores.
5. Set up a process for shipping products to customers.

How you can get started today.... 

The only real decision you have to make is are you going to drop-ship your products or store your products and arrange shipping yourself.

The main difference is that Drop-Shipping is a little less profitable as the supplier packages and ships the product direct to your customer, however, it's also a lot less work on your behalf.

Make no mistake - you will still need to research the market and the product you are considering selling - there is no 'quick and easy' way to setting up a drop-shipping company, nevertheless, using the right tools will certainly make this research alot easier.

Having done all the footwork and searched for and trialled several different tools available, I can honestly recommend the following two wholesale services as the best by far that I have personally worked with.
